Summer Gardening with Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee #StarbucksIcedCoffee

Summer is here and one of my new found loves has been plants and gardening.  I like to dedicate a portion of my day to get my hands into some soil and harvest!  I began helping my grandmother with her new garden a few months back and have found myself slowly taking over.
It all started as me choosing to help her out a little, no one wants to see their grandmother doing labor so I thought to give her a helping hand.  I drove to her house everyday to see the progression of growth, it baffles her that I'm so into it, she say's I've been bit by the gardening bug.

A couple of weeks back I overheard my grandmother telling her neighbor how badly she wanted to plant okra in her garden but could not find the seeds.  I found some at target and took initiative!

Today's duty was strictly transplanting, basically transferring stems from one pot to another to create more room in the pot and to allow the plant to reach its greatest capacity and more so to avoid root rot! Look at me sounding like a gardening pioneer, I must say that this has been an excellent form of meditation.

If feels so good to find peace in something that does a great deed to our environment, our planet.  I always feel like a deserve a treat, you girls know how much I dig Starbucks!  I decided to try out  Bottled Starbucks Iced Coffee and it is perfection, a nice daily pick me up!

  2. This is pretty neat. I was just telling a friend that in my 'adult' life, I want to live in a place where I can grow most of my food or at least find a farmer where I know the food is coming off the land lol.

    1. It really makes you feel good, it's so much better eating produce in which you know where it was grown, what was placed in the soil, how it was treated, etc.

  3. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your
site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to
say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?

Have a look at my site ... catching a cheating wife ()
