Tending to The Little One

After recording this video and looking over it myself (which I never do after I post) I realized how tired I looked after removing my shades.  Wow, Prince had me worried and I didn’t sleep well at all last night.  My body was all thrown off, I checked on him all throughout the night.  When you have a dog/cat they really become a part of you, like a child and it is the hardest thing to see them in pain.

As of this morning he’s perked up a bit, still laying around but when he saw me he jumped as normal, unlike yesterday when he just stared at me helplessly with pain in his eyes (sounds so dramatic right) I can tell he’s still a bit backed up because he stomach is still a little hard.  And he still isn’t eating much of anything.  Right after I’m out of the office I’m headed home to give him a bath and show him some TLC (tender care & love)

Love your makeup. My poor little danco has those problems too. We had to get his anal glands popped. He was constipated too.

  2. I know the feeling. When Sophia isn't feeling right I'm not right. My sister think I'm a weirdo cause I baby my dog. Only a fellow dog owner would understand. It's truly like having a kid.

  3. hope Prince gets better. I give my dry dog food and wet canned food on occasion as a treat. He loves the canned. I also give him bones. I get the real bones from the store or if we eat lamb chops, t-bone steak or lamb then we save some bone for him. I've noticed he gets really good poops after eating bones and they also help him squeeze his anal glands. He gets really bothered if he doesn't empty his glands when he poops.

  4. @meme yikes, I hope I don't have to have his popped :/ eventually

@Sha, thats so true.. my mom was like eww, but I was not grossed out at all by it, just wanted him to feel better.

Thanks for the tips @Anonymous, but prince is tiny 4.5lbs I'm not sure if he can eat bone, it takes him weeks to finish a rawhide treat

  5. What's funny is that I was watching your vid explaining prince's situation while eating. LOL so sad smh. I'm a mum of 7 doggies, 2 rabbits, 4 birds and 5 fishes so I understand the worried feeling whenever anything goes wrong. They're definitely like children, when they hurt; you hurt.
Anywhoozers, greetings from the Caribbean. I enjoy your blog, vids, style and personality. Wishing you all the best in your endeavours.
    Ciao bella!

  6. My dog had that issue a few months ago. One thing that the vet told us to do is to give our dog canned pumpkin mixed with the dry food. I know you said he won't eat much, but if in fact he does choose to eat, the pumpkin will help loosen up whatever poop he didn't get out after the enema. It also helps to walk the dog on a regular basis.

    Hope this helps!
